Travel with us, and leave behind crowds, noise, and tourist traps as we introduce you to rural Romagna, an unspoiled land where people are passionate, kind, generous, and proud of their traditions. Together with our local host Susy Patrito, and our partners at Casa Artusi, we’ll introduce like-minded foodie adventurers like you to our network of friends: farmers, agronomists, foragers, cheese makers, chocolate makers, bakers, vintners, and chefs, all of whom are inspired by the beauty of the countryside and the bounty it produces. Their craftsmanship and passion can leave a lasting impression on us… and perhaps bring all of us closer at the table!

Casa Artusi Residency

Casa Artusi is the first and only center of gastronomic culture devoted entirely to Italian home cooking and is located in the hometown of of Pellegrino Artusi, whose cookbook “Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well” can be found in homes across Italy and the world. The foundation was a key partner in the 2025 UNESCO Recognition of Italian Cuisine as an Intangible World Heritage.

March 26-29, 2026 we will be joined by the one and only Susy Patrito, founding director of Casa Artusi and host of our Culinary tours, and Chef Matteo Milandri for an Italian Cuisine Residency. They will travel from Forlimpopoli to Minnesota to host a series of hands-on cooking classes and demonstration dinners at Cooks of Crocus Hill in St. Paul. For details and availability click here.
