Join us for a virtual stroll through Ravenna as mosaic artist Luca Barbarini will introduce us to his hometown of Ravenna and share his studio with us.

A city that remarkably remains under the radar, Ravenna boasts eight UNESCO World Heritage cultural sites, all early Christian monuments. Seven of these are decorated with glittering mosaics.

Luca and his wife Arianna Gallo create masterpieces in their studio, Koko Mosaico, using both traditional techniques and modern artistry.

Ravenna is also famous for being the final resting place of Dante, the father of the Italian language. In 2021, Italy will celebrate the 700th anniversary of his death. And in fact, Ravenna’s mosaics inspired Dante to write his Divine Comedy.

During our hour together, we will only see a portion of Ravenna’s beautiful treasures, but we hope you will get a taste of its unparalleled artistry and architecture.

Ravenna uniquely blends its ancient treasures with a young and enthusiastic spirit. Come along and explore it with Esperienza! Click the link below to register.
