Changes to Our Online Italian Language Learning Programs
Eight years ago, Esperienza was founded with the mission of helping to revitalize local villages in rural Italy. Our initial programs, focusing on Italian language learning and Italian cuisine, all took place in Pennabilli, the village which first sparked the idea. During the pandemic, we added online Italian classes, and since then we have experimented with other travel programs, including Art & Culture trips and began offering Pilgrimage Hiking trips in 2024.
As we continue to refine our mission, we have made the decision to strengthen our commitment to our in-person travel programs. To that end, Esperienza is making a few changes:
With the upcoming fall semester, Esperienza will not be offering our usual online Italian language classes. Emanuela Corbetta, our former director, will be offering classes for those who'd like to continue with her.
The 2-week language immersion program in Italy and the online Italian book club will still be part of Esperienza’s programs, led by locals in Italy.
